After a triumphant 2022 season with two Norwegian winners, Team Norway is making a spectacular comeback for WCOPA 2026 in Las Vegas – and the stakes have never been higher.
The last time Norway participated in the World Championships of Performing Arts was in 2022. After six unforgettable years as National Director, I stepped away to pursue other projects — and we finished on a high note with two Norwegian winners that year. Now, an extraordinary moment has arrived. For the first time in 28 years, WCOPA is moving from its long-time home in Los Angeles to an entirely new global entertainment capital: Las Vegas. This shift is historic. With Los Angeles preparing to host the FIFA World Cup the same summer, WCOPA saw the perfect opportunity to relocate to a city built for spectacle. And let me be honest — there is no place on earth with more potential for an international breakthrough than Las Vegas. And that is exactly where Norway will take the stage in 2026. ## A New Era for Team Norway This year, I have been given the honor of returning as National Director for Norway. But I am not coming back empty-handed — I am bringing with me a new framework rooted in years of personal research and experience. My goal is clear: **to build a Norwegian team where progress, performance, and results become visible fast.** This is not just about competition. It is about growth. It is about transformation.
